marketing assistant


The Marketing Assistant will be in charge of coordinating, scheduling, and managing the marketing content and other administrative duties for Rock Paper Sisters.


You’ll have the option of working in-person or remotely, with flexible hours. This is a 1099, contracted position.


Coordinating, scheduling and maintaining marketing content; performing administrative assistant roles such as moderate client management, and inbox management.



  • Familiar with the wedding/event/small, creative business industry

  • Experience with software (in any capacity) with a tech savvy background

  • A self-starter with the ability to manage to-dos and checklists

  • Task-focused and efficient with the ability to maintain organization and structure

  • Prompt and clear communicator with an, “I’ll find a way” perspective

  • Forward thinker with a friendly and respectful attitude

  • Previous marketing or administrative experience (via previous work positions, volunteer or school opportunities)


While these are not requirements, skillsets in these areas will be highly considered:

  • Squarespace/Squarespace Analytics

  • SEO, Google Ad Words, & Keywords

  • Adobe Creative Cloud: Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop, Lightroom

  • Apps including: Tailwind/Later/Planoly/Preview/Lightroom/Dropbox/Canva

  • Hashtag Research and usage

  • Facebook for Business and advertisement placement

  • Mailchimp

  • Writing experience including blogs, social media content, etc.
